I visited IHOP this morning and was left quite disappointed by my experience. When I arrived, there were only a few occupied tables, yet I stood at the front for about 7-8 minutes before a staff member finally noticed me and seated me. It took another 5-6 minutes for her to bring my coffee, and then another 5 minutes to take my order. I ordered a medium steak and eggs, but my meal arrived without the pancakes. When I cut into the steak, I found it to be overcooked. I attempted to get the attention of the wait staff, but she was nowhere to be seen. My friend and I each ordered a Colorado Omelette and a cup of coffee at the IHOP in Emeryville, and our bill came to $50. We hadn’t eaten much and intended to take the food home for later. However, when Sue flipped her omelette over, it looked unappetizing and tasted just as bad—like old rubber. We were very disappointed on multiple levels, and the customer service was mediocre at best—not terrible, but definitely not good.
I hadn’t visited this IHOP in many years. This time, I went because my friend was really craving IHOP food. We both enjoyed our meals, though unfortunately, my omelet didn’t come with toast. Thankfully, my friend kindly shared a slice from her 55+ breakfast. The parking lot is located at the back of the restaurant.

IHOP offers a great breakfast experience, definitely better than Denny's, and the waitress was very friendly. However, my mom was disappointed that the menu didn’t include any hot tea options; she even wished she had brought her own. We enjoyed the limited time $5.00 special, which was a nice deal overall.

I had a terrible experience at the Emeryville IHOP. The chicken was overcooked and tasted like it had been fried in poor-quality grease. The food was also served cold. I would not recommend dining there.

The service was good, even though we were seated in a section that was open while the others were closed. There were a few ants on some of the tables, but overall, we still had a wonderful experience.
