This restaurant offers nothing remarkable. Here’s a brief overview of the issues: It only caters to those who can handle lactose and eat spicy foods. The ambiance is dull and monotonous, and the majority of the staff is teenagers who frequently make mistakes. The space is extremely small and cramped, and they've removed the outdoor bench! There's a heavy focus on takeout orders, which contributes to the slow and inflexible service. The bathroom is public, not private, and the waiting area is limited and crowded, often resulting in wait times that spill over into the dining area.

I was quite disappointed with my experience at the restaurant. When I think of maduros, I expect a dish that exceeds the standard, but what I received were under ripe plantains from the steam table that tasted like cardboard. I was told there would be a wait, and I thought that meant they were preparing fresh ones. Unfortunately, I was wrong; the delay was actually because they were taking phone orders instead. As for the empanadas, they were just kept warm in a display case, which didn't look very appetizing.
I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while! I had the chance to try some amazing empanadas from a food truck at the Amityville Park during a "Slammed by the Bay" event. The line was long, and they were constantly making new empanadas to keep up with the high demand. We tried chicken, shrimp, and carne empanadas, and each one was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend checking out their physical location if you can’t find the food truck!
It might have just been a matter of bad timing, but the staff was made up of a group of young guys who were joking and discussing topics definitely not suited for a work environment. I ordered chicken fingers and fries, and I was let down to discover that I paid $14 for chicken fingers that were completely burnt. One bite actually hurt my tooth, and they had a taste that was old and stale.

The empanadas at this restaurant are outstanding. However, the chipotle-style ones tend to have an aftertaste that I don't particularly enjoy. I usually prefer chicken, but surprisingly, I found the ground beef option to be better in this case. As for the maduros, they're inconsistent—sometimes they're delicious, but at other times they are quite dry.
I ordered food online for my boyfriend and me and picked it up. This is a wonderful restaurant to visit with friends who enjoy meat, as they have a wide variety of options for meat lovers, along with some selections for vegans and vegetarians. We tried the lunch special, and it was truly delightful.
Every time I order from this restaurant, there's always an issue with my order. They never include the sauces I choose in the app. For instance, if I order spicy empanadas with sour cream, they end up sending red and green sauce instead.
My order was completely wrong! They didn't include the sauce I requested, left out one shrimp empanada, and the plantains were burnt to a crisp! I would never recommend spending your money here!
