The appies were, in general, overpriced. The pinwheel was basically nothing with a small bowl of cheese. At a minimum, double what it was worth in volume and quality. However, the prawn tacos were very delicious, of great quality and quantity. The deep dish pizza, isn't a deep dish pizza. It is pan-pizza. Like what you might get at Pizza Hut. NOT deep-dish. Therefore, not worth the cost as you are only buying pizza crust. The chicken club was outstanding, with great flavor, but the calamari was so thinly sliced that there was no flavor whatsoever. To be honest, were I blindfolded, I would have never known it was squid I was eating. NOT what I wanted, as I rather like squid. Service was good,...
Went on a Wednesday and they had wings on special for 60 cents each. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen or something, because the wings were very average, I've definitely had much better wings for way less at other places. Other than that the pub was decent. Good atmosphere, staff was friendly and service was quick. I'd be willing to go again for something other than wings. I'd rate it between 3/4 out of 5.
Jackfish is a fantastic pub with a unique atmosphere that sets it apart from all others. The food and service are exceptional, as the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that customers have a fantastic night out. Unlike your typical pub fare, much of the food at Jackfish is made from scratch and is simply outstanding.
Had great reviews online. Fantastic atmosphere. Really friendly. Menu was good. Chose wrong. Had pork belly and scallops. 4 scallops and a small piece of really fatty pork. Veggies great. Still hungry. Needed more meat. Should had a burger or steak. Not worth $30. Enjoying my beer. London Bull in town way better food!
We had a great dinner at this Pub while driving through on the Alaska Highway - Baked Hummus, Sezchuan Hot Pot, Taco Salad, and Lime Cheesecake - all nicely prepared & delicious. Service was a bit slow but the people were nice.
These are the best chicken wings in FSJ! They are incredibly crispy yet tender, which is rare to find in this area. I particularly enjoy them when they are dunked in spicy sauce.
The patio is the perfect place to relax and and have a drink with friends. The staff is friendly and the beer selection is adequate. Try the mojitos, they are surprisingly good.
Visited friends. Great atmosphere. My beer was cold and my pasta was delicious! The service is wonderful. There is new management and they are fantastic!
There is less proceed food here at Jack Fish than anywhere else in the city. I LIKE THAT! They have some local ingredients too. That is cool!
