We went to jars meze between Christmas and new year. We were quite shocked at how long we had to wait to get served wait for our food. It took approx an hour to get served. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like it was just us that day as we heard the waitress complaining that another table had to wait for an hour and that they were unhappy with the service. Perhaps they were just particular busy and understaffed in the christmas period. However, the waitresses complaining prevented me from asking for any additional dishes drinks as we felt bad for overwhelming them. I came looking for a quick lunch, and indeed the food came very quickly. That was the highlight. All the rest was just mediocre: really dry and oversalted meat in gyros, overall quality of food the same as in a cheap kebab, yet the price was above £20, no WiFi and absolutely no mobile signal inside, and I had to wait very long for my bill. The kitchen staff had to ring for waiters a lot, as there was no more room for them to put the food but no one came to take it. But the worst was that the food was simply not fresh, it felt like it has been made several hours ago.
Good food, big portions. All dips and sauces come in pretty little jam jars (a nod to the name I imagine) Hummus was lovely, chunky and flavorful! Place was very busy, but it was a Saturday and sunny, so it's to be expected. Quite a few seats inside and upstairs, so don't be deterred if it looks full from outside. Service was amazing, everyone was very nice and they were receptive to my requests regarding the meal.
Everything was amazing. The menu is clearly labelled with gf etc which makes ordering very easy. We had the Greek salad to start which was incredibly fresh and the Greek red wine complimented it perfectly. Pork and chicken gyros was so delicious but I couldn't finish it so took it home. Stunning complimentary digestif at the end too. We will travel to Bath just to revisit one day!

You immediately feel like you're in Greece. The decoration is on point. From a food point of view, you will still feel hungry if you take only one plate as a main course. The pork was amazing but had to be accompanied with some other sides. There was some seafood on the menu but most of them were not available. My friend had had the squid plate and found it okay at best.
Incredible dinner spot! Lovely warm service and a cosy atmosphere. The baked aubergine dish was mouthwatering and the pita bread was so tasty and fresh. My whole family and I loved everything we tried.
To much expensive . Staff very friendly The food was very nice except of pork that is horrible, and dessert is not good. Prices are not cheap compared the food. I’m thinking twice next time.
The food was excellent as was the service. We got the feeling that it was a family business. Very friendly, the young waitress couldn't have been more helpful.

A very nicely decorated place with plenty of seating. The price is reasonable especially considering portion size. Service was polite and friendly.
A cozy little gem in the heart of Bath. Lovely atmosphere. Great Greek food.
