The entire staff at this restaurant is incredibly courteous and genuinely helpful. They’re always ready to answer any questions you might have about the menu. The variety of authentic and extremely delicious Mexican dishes is unparalleled in Bartlett. The Al Pastor is absolutely mouthwatering—I can honestly say it’s the best I’ve ever had. You can enjoy it in a taco, gordita, torta, burrito, or simply on its own with a fork. You’ll immediately want to experience it again in any and every option I mentioned, and then some! For a real treat afterwards, don’t miss out on the tres leches cake for dessert. You can thank me later!
The drinks and outdoor seating area were quite charming. However, the food was bland and overpriced. The menu indicated that items came with two sides, yet there was an additional charge of $3.00 for those sides, which was confusing. There seemed to be extra charges for everything—like a two-taco platter at one price, but if you wanted one prepared a certain way and the other differently, it cost an extra dollar. Choosing a sauce? That was another $2.50. It was frustrating. I would return for the drinks and chips and salsa, but not for the food. The staff was friendly, though.
I visited JCs for dinner last Saturday night and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like you're dining in someone's home. We were seated immediately, and our server brought us chips and salsa right away. The drinks were fantastic, and the food was even better. The al pastor tacos and the torta were exceptional. I've been to many excellent Mexican restaurants in the city, and JCs ranks among the best.
Humble Ambient. Family Cosey Had a super kind gentleman in the right, dark shirt, pay for our meal. We were speechless. Server said he'll pay for guests with kids from time to time when he dines in. If you see this. We thank you! Now you gave me an idea I'll follow in your footsteps by doing the same to others. Had a great time with the family. I surprised them myself eating here. Came to JCs for dinner last Saturday night and loved it. Restaurant has a cozy feel, almost like being in someone's home. We were seated right away. Server brought us chips and salsa. Drinks were great and the food even better. The al pastor tacos and the torta were all outstanding. I've been to many great Mexican restaurants in the city and JCs is right there with them.
This family-owned restaurant in the heart of downtown Bartlett makes the best margaritas and their delicious recipes are straight from Mexico. In the summer, sit on their patio and enjoy great food and drinks while watching Bartlett in action. A bigthumbs up!
my family and I've been driving our bikes here since we've been living close. the leaves look around see beautiful year around now during autumn almost fake. the lights make it super cozy. I recommend sitting outside
