This was our first time at JeonJu and we were pleasantly surprised and delighted. The restaurant is intimate and family run and you can tell by the friendliness and attention they gave the customers. We are not the most experienced in Korean cuisine though we know the basics. Our waitress was so nice and kept coming to our table to explain about the meal. She was very proud to be our 'guide'. The food is more like home cooking, not upscale type Korean fusion, but simple and delicious. I felt like we ate very healthy. It's not a Korean BBQ restaurant so we didn't have to deal with the smoke and splatters at the table. I will definitely go again and try other selections on the menu!
3.5 stars came here with some friends on a friday around 5:30pm and the restaurant had a lot of seating as there was one other party. to start off, got some standard banchan nothing too fancy. they replace the ones we finish without us asking. for our entrees, my husband and i split one galbi tang and one mul naengmyun. the galbi tang was good! very eggy broth similar to dduk guk but i enjoyed it. the naeng myun was tasty as well. good food, decent service, but overall, i wasn't blown away.
Portions are a little bit on the smaller side. Side dishes tiny, rice tiny, soup medium small, so we had to keep asking for more sides and rice.I would have given 5 stars ? if the food could remain flavorful and freshly made ready and every time, but no, it varies a lot. Sometimes it's awesome, sometimes it's a little bit old. Can't predict it.
Great food and excellent service! I would definitely eat here again. I tried the soup, which was fantastic, and my wife had the bulgogi, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed! This place has completely calmed my hangry side, and I'm grateful for that!

Authentic Korean food.The variety of vegetables in the goat stew gave it such a rich distinct taste.Top notch, fresh bonchon is always a good sign that a restaurant is high quality.
The food was good, but the service left much to be desired. The waitress was rather rude when taking our order, and I didn't have the opportunity to properly look over the menu.

I can't wait to eat here again; everything was so delicious! Everyone enjoyed the goat dish, and I plan to try it next time. I've got this!
