Simply mediocre at best. Over priced Sysco food masquerading as a modern approach to a classic diner. $9 for a single pancake $13 for toast and eggs $18 for bacon and eggs Turkey sandwich has shredded cheese and lettuce? And $4 “wheat” white bread. Country potatoes with peppers have a single slice of green pepper chopped into tiny bits difficult to poke and eat. Disappointing. Trashy and dirty table caddy system. Water cups taste like soap. Awkward outdoor metal tables.
I love this place! Exactly what an old-school cafe should be. The service was prompt, friendly, attentive and kind. The food was quick,delicious and plentiful. I imagined going there regularly- every day for my favorite breakfast. Unfortunately, as good as it was, I wouldn’t want to drive from Ridgefield every morning.
Great breakfast. Often in here fro Chicken fried steak. great portions, prompt friendly service. They have changed the sausage gravy recipe it's not as good as it used to be, still good though!
Diner style food, service, atmosphere locals. Plenty of fried food, very cheap and service with a smile. If you're after quality, there's better in town
Went in for a quick bite. It's a simple little diner. Food was pretty good. Don't expect fast food service, they cook the food while you wait.
You still like the biscuits and gravy but now the biscuits are always stale. And there is never enough gravy.. waste of time and money.
Had the Chicken Fried Steak. Gravy is some of best I have ever had. Great service, highly recommend for breakfast
Joe Brown's has a casual atmosphere and old dinner feel. Family owned wity large portions and good food.
Absolutely the best breakfast in Vancouver. The omelets are delicious.
