When I finally told the waiter we were ready to order, he said we would have to wait because he was assisting the waitress and didn’t want to overstep. This left me baffled; shouldn’t the order be taken regardless? So we ended up waiting longer to place our order. The chips and salsa weren't very fresh, and we remained hungry during the wait. To make matters worse, my cup was dirty, with bits of food or grime floating in my water.
When we were finally able to order, we wanted a dozen tamales, but the waitress informed us that they no longer offered that option. I questioned why it was still on the menu, and she explained that they just hadn’t removed it yet, even though I noticed other item...
Absolutely disgusting! Don’t believe any of the good reviews. They must be from the employees or from customers who like to go hang out and drink and don’t really care if the food is bad. The food is horrible! Found a curly black hair in the rice which was already nauseating without the hair! The only decent food was the chips.Salsa NORice NASTYBeans NOChicken NO has no flavor ?Chips OKAnd wear a jacket! It’s ridiculously cold in there! They obviously don’t care about customers being comfortable when they know it’s too cold and just tell you to wear a jacket when it’s 78 degrees outside!
I rate the tacos I had a 3 only because it did not taste bad. Two of my tacos had more lumps of fat than pork meat. I put the Verde salsa on one of my tacos and almost forgot I had put any. Not much flavor in the carnitas. I tried the red salsa on my taco that is usually served with the chips and a can of tomato sauce came to mind not salsa. Now, I can say I liked the rice. It was not dried out. The host was kind and sweet. The atmosphere was nice. I was excited after coming in and being greeted but became disappointed with the food.
we ordered takeout tonight. Our happy plates barely had anything in the To go boxes. very plain. Half a container of cheese dip for the topping. Just wasn't worth 45$.

The tamales were awful, chilli sauce just tasted like salt. They are shredding beef, not ground . Fajitas were edible but not very good. Salsa was terrible as well.
Dietary restrictions: This is the best place to eat. Come hungry because they really take care of you. I absolutely love it and visit whenever I get the chance.
The fajita chimichanga was absolutely delicious, and the cheese dip was fantastic. The service was quick, and the staff was very friendly.
Most ppl don’t go to a Mexican restaurant and order a burger but if your in the mood for one, Jose’s has the best burgers in town
