What an amazing find! I must have walked past this place countless times without noticing it until recently. We attended one of their events featuring a fireside chat with one of the owners of Carnivore, a butcher and restaurant in Oak Park. My husband and I had a fantastic time. I really appreciate that the bar doesn't have any TVs, making it feel incredibly cozy. Although I'm not a beer expert, I truly enjoyed the Dunkel. I’m already looking forward to returning on the weekend to sample the food from Carnivore along with my beer!
Kinslahger is primarily dedicated to crafting outstanding beer, and they truly excel at making fantastic lagers! There's always a seasonal beer available on tap, and my personal favorite is the Prohibition Pils. Besides brewing exceptional beer, they've created a warm and inviting space for locals to gather and socialize. He remarked that the beer was decent. The bartender was friendly and attentive, which added to the pleasant experience. They also have a selection of board games and cards available on a shelf in the back. Overall, it's a lovely spot to relax, enjoy some beer, and soak up the good vibes.
