We went to Korner Kitchen in Waterloo on a weekend afternoon and it was super busy. We waited for almost an hour for a seat but we were a group of 5, so we expected to wait longer. They also take down your number so they can call you when your table is ready. Once we got a seat, we noticed how nice it was inside, the interior is quite modern. They had a large menu so if you are indecisive then I would recommend you looking at the menu on their website ahead of time. I visited korner Kitchen couple times now and it never disappoints. I had their Pacific Benedict for the second time and I loved it. The Benedict was absolutely delicious with perfectly poached eggs. My friend had the East Coast Benedict and it was also yummy. The staff were friendly and attentive as usual. The only downside is that the restaurant can get quite busy on the weekends, so be prepared to wait a little bit for a table. But trust me, it's def worth it for the delicious food and great service. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
This is my favourite breakfast spot before and after becoming gluten free. I brought my friend from the USA who is celiac. She is very susceptible to cross contamination and tests everything with her Nima tester. Everything came back as safe and she was very happy. We’ve been to other breakfast spots with not so great results so she was happy to be able to eat. The server was great and took everything very seriously. The receipt even had celiac on it and severe allergy. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here if you are celiac.
This is my go-to spot for brunch in Waterloo. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are affordable. The atmosphere is cozy and the service from the staff is excellent. Despite being busy, the wait time is usually not too long and they are quick to seat waiting customers. The menu has something for everyone, whether you prefer sweet or savory dishes. I absolutely love Korner Kitchen. I’ve brought so many friends and family here and we all always leave smiling. The service is personable and makes you feel comfortable and welcome. I have never had a bad experience here. The atmosphere feels like home and you look forward to going back. We have had the pleasure of connecting with many great servers and staff. Definitely recommend. If I could leave a 6 star rating I would.
The gluten-free breakfast at this restaurant was excellent. I had eggs over easy, served with beans, hash browns, and gluten-free toast. The server was attentive and knowledgeable, and ensured all of my questions were answered. The hash browns were not seasoned with salt, the food was cooked in a separate pan, and the toast was toasted under the broiler. Overall, the meal was delicious.
I have dined at this restaurant twice and had a wonderful experience both times! I ordered gluten-free toast and, since they do not have a separate toaster, I requested them to broil the bread instead. They were very accommodating and understanding. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. I would highly recommend this place!
This Waterloo restaurant is the perfect spot for breakfast. The food is consistently top-notch and the portions are generous. I enjoy going there for weekend brunch.
