Excellent excellent food, service and experience. 100% perfect!The carne asada meal was both ample and absolutely delicious. The tortillas were absolutely fresh (which makes a huge difference). Every aspect of the meal was divine. And even though I'm a big Viking eating machine, took enough home for a second meal (which financially is very very nice)! We were looking for a Mexican grocery store to buy some ingredients for a cookout while visiting family in Florida and this popped up on our search. It's a small grocery store in a strip mall. Some items in the cooler, but mostly small grocery items for necessity. There is also a bakery and restaurant attached. We visited the bakery and picked up some baked goods. The family that runs it was pretty nice and gave us some tips on where to go to find carne asada.
Amazing tacos! They serve Queso Birria, Cabeza, Tripe, and Lenguas—everything you could desire! The tacos are a bit pricey at around $3.25 each, but every bite is incredibly delicious and definitely worth the cost. The restaurant is situated inside a store and bakery, which doesn't offer the most inviting atmosphere, but you still get a great overall experience. Food: 5/5.
This was my first time going to this place and the food was great at first. My boyfriend found a chicken bone in his food and then very shortly after I found a hair in mine. Maybe just bad luck because I have found hair in food before but just sucks as a first impression. The place didn't look very clean though either. Two stars for being good minus the setbacks. This place is not usually my particular favorite because they use shredded (raw) cabbage on their tacos instead of lettuce, but this time I ordered scrambled eggs and their macaroni salad and it was delicious ?The place was very full so I got 2 whole meals out of it. I loved it. You should give it a try.
The food was absolutely wonderful—flavorful and not oily in the least. The service was top-notch, and the prices were quite fair.
The food was quite spicy, even though I asked for it to be milder since I can't handle spicy dishes.
