La Famiglia Italian

Yummy! We had tickets to the Smithtown performing Arts Center, and La Famiglia was right on the way. Hot antipasto was by far the best we have ever had and it's big enough to feed an army. Shrimp parmigiana we superb, and the sauce was sheer perfection. Portions are most definitely family style so you need to be careful not to over order or you will have big doggie bags. Excellent friendly service made the meal even better. The owner came out to speak with us and thank us. Definitely worth more visits. We will probably try the one in Plainview.

For me to write a review is unheard! I had my sons communion here. Let me tell you this restaurant delivered to any aspect that it promised some! Food and service were absolutely phenomenal!!! Giovanni and his crew are fantastic. I would highly advise to book an event or just come to dinner, make them feel like family! We'll be all the way! See you soon! Family Sitar

Very good tasting Italian food! Your service is also very good. I was a couple of times, always on weekends. The only consistent problem was noise; it's hard to have a conversation with the people I'm staying at. It seems they work on adding sound-absorbing materials in the ceiling (plug fabric, etc.).

If I had to choose my always popular restaurant, it would be. And I live in S. Florida! I've been flying to NY before. That's special. Eating is delicious, served family style, and always perfectly prepared. If you ever have a chance, eat here!!!

Always great food and service here! I am here for 2 big family events (10-20 guests) in the back room and we always leave satisfied. The plates are large, family style to easily share with about 4-6 people and the wine and coffee is very good.
