I was charged $20 more than I should have been at this restaurant. The waitress claimed it was an accident and wouldn't give me a receipt, saying her manager would charge her for the food. This was my first and last visit. A sign indicating that tip was already included would have been helpful, as I was charged an additional $17 for the waitress's tip without being informed. The waitress laughed it off instead of being apologetic, which was disappointing considering how hard I work for my money. The food is overpriced compared to other Mexican restaurants, with smaller portions and less authenticity. I recommend trying a different restaurant for better value and quality.
The ambiance may have been lacking, but the fact that they were playing Christian Nodal earned them an additional star in my book. The burrito I ordered was not only the largest I have ever seen, but it was also incredibly tasty. The server was friendly and attentive. Seriously, just look at the size of that BURRITO ?!!! You definitely won't find anything like it at Chipotle, and for only $12!
I ordered 3 Barria tacos and 1 street corn (elote) from Grubhub even though I know Barria tacos are better when they're fresh off the skillet. I decided to take a risk and have them delivered. To my surprise, these were the best Barria tacos I've had in Pinellas. Next time, I'll definitely go to the restaurant to get them fresh. I have a feeling they'll be even better that way.
Definitely a hard NO for this place. Highly disappointed. Horchata is horrible, not fresh and has a bad fruity taste- with no taste of cinnamon and sugar. The birria tacos were not good at all either; the meat was so dry, shells were hard and tasted stale. Would not recommend this place AT ALL. Def not the place to go and won’t be returning.

Authentic Mex, through and through! Stop in and try their birria tacos, you will not be disappointed! They even serve tacos de lengua y tripa if you really want the full rancho experience. La Gloria is a great find for being on the East Coast.
Hole in the wall but over all very legit Mexican food.reminds me of my childhood my obuletas food!! small and can use some new decor. Waitresses don't know English but very very nice food is delicious so they make up for it.
The meat we ordered was so hard that we couldn't even eat it, the cold pork rinds don't seem to be fresh, the beans are also really bad, it's sad to have paid for such bad food.
We went for lunch, so it was nice and relaxing, not too busy. Ordered some Carne asada fries, was delicious. Ruby was very friendly and helpful. Will come back again soon.
