I had dinner at this restaurant with my brother, and the highlight of the experience was definitely spending time with him. I ordered the potato soup and a chicken, bacon, and cheese sandwich. Unfortunately, both the soup and the sandwich were served cold. The soup was particularly disappointing, as it didn't even melt the cheese on top. I wasn't a fan of the seasoning on the chicken either. The sandwich was also cold. On a positive note, the chocolate chip cookie was delicious, boasting a lovely flavor and generous chunks of chocolate. The staff were friendly and pleasant throughout our visit.

The food flavor has really gone downhill. I used to crave La Madeleine!! When I picked up food tonight, the flavor was disappointing, the soup was cold, the portions to go on main courses were small and the small dressing they put with the salad was leaking so i had about 1 ounce of dressing to put on a full size salad. Kind of surprised you have to pay for bread, butter and jam now to just get such a skimpy portion of everything. Overall I don’t recommend ordering here for less than average flavor.
We have had lunch and dinner at the Camp Bowie location since it was started. But after the Covid issue this place has deteriorated. Mike Rogers for a time was an excellent manager. But now the staff is inexperienced, not well informed about the menu and the food is mediocre at best at high prices of course. The rosemary chicken was a people pleaser but now it is no longer on the menu. On a Friday evening there were hardly any customers.
My husband and I have been faithful customers of La Madeline in Ridglea since it opened in the early 1990s. Recently, however, we've noticed a considerable drop in both the quality of the food and the service. During our visit today, both were below our expectations. While we might still stop by for the bakery, we’re unhappy with the current state of the restaurant and won’t be dining there again unless improvements are made. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Ate here, my brother brought me. Best part of the experience was visiting my brother. I got potato soup and chicken, bacon, cheese sandwich. Neither soup or sandwich was warm. Soup was cold so that cheese on top did not even melt. I disliked the seasoning on the chicken. The sandwich was cold as well. The chocolate chip cookie had a nice flavor and big chunks of chocolate. The staff was pleasant.
This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious food. The soups and croissants are particularly outstanding. The only drawback is that it tends to get quite crowded. The staff is attentive and polite, adding to the pleasant experience. The ambiance is beautifully decorated and welcoming. Overall, the food quality is exceptional, deserving a perfect rating of 5 out of 5.
Check all to go orders. They always mess my orders up. Get your employees trained right. After 2 months of avoiding la Madeline, we went on Friday night. Food was missing again, sandwiches were made wrong. I expect more when I'm paying close to $100 for 5 ppl to eat.
At La Madeleine French Bakery Cafe, the coffee is often served lukewarm, and many times I’ve had to ask for a fresh pot because it’s either cold or empty. Despite the charming menu, the coffee service could definitely be improved. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I truly love this spot! It offers a charming, nostalgic atmosphere, and the food is absolutely delightful. The staff are warm and inviting. Be sure to try the strawberries Romanoff—they’re my top pick.

"Update: The food was great, but I found it a little on the dry side. I would recommend having a dipping sauce to accompany the sandwiches since the sauce on the sandwiches tends to soak through the paper."
