La Place Villecroze

We went to La Place on a quiet weekday. Together with one other couple we were the only customers. Our QR codes were properly validated, and the staff were wearing masks. We had foie gras and salade de chevre for starters, followed by duck breast with blueberry sauce. Excellent, but too big for us to eat, so the leftovers were wrapped nicely in alu foil for us, and served as dinner the next day. No room for dessert. The local Domaine Valcolombe Baroque rouge wine was superb. All in all an excellent meal.

We had dinner on a lazy Sunday , The street was a vibrant and colourful paradise and a folk singer entertained from the middle of the closed street , We ate Steaks cooked blu , Pizza the size of lorry wheels and I ate a beautifully presented and tasting Seafood salad with prawn and wild sea smoked salmon with Avocado, The pitcher of wine was so local you could smell the vines and the service was absolutely top class , our best meal of the vacation, excellent,

A lovely little find on a rainy Sunday night in Villecroze. We were made to feel most welcome. We had the dish of the day, lamb tagine and a beef burger. The food was so tasty and the service excellent. Friendly establishment Wouldn’t hesitate to return. You would not be disappointed.

Juste à little restaurant but good and very nice atmosphere. Good service We where there during the local village festival which is once per year. Lots of fun

We were staying nearby and stopped here for a light lunch. Food was fresh and service was excellent. We would not hesitate to make a return visit.
