very pleasant and very friendly welcome despite a large table to serve just before us the waitress has come to apologize several times for waiting. we were not necessarily in a hurry but we enjoyed this kindness. A victim of his success there were only salads and pizza left here. We tested the pizzas, they are good and fresh. with wine and soda for it is very correct in the light of the surrounding frame. The boss is very nice and took the time to chat with us at the end of the meal. the village of tourtour is beautiful and we will return with pleasure to this establishment.
Villecroze village square has 2 restaurants and a nice bar , All are worth a visit La Place in the middle has the slightly better menu and also does very nice Pizza if you are coming with kids . Friendly staff and quite a large menu to sort all tastes. So many restaurants in this area all have the same items steak , duck or Dorade so its nice to see some variant such as Kidneys in port and also some daily specials and the carafe wine is cheap and will not rot your intestines ,its a very nice local wine so the price of the whole meal is very reasonable .
The title says it all. After noticing that everybody coming in after us was being served way before we were even allowed to order drinks, and after asking for the menu twice in an amicable way, we were told that if we were not happy (and we certainly were not, which is pretty rare) we could leave... which we gladly did ! Luckily we quickly found a much nicer restaurant nearby. Read other similar comments here on Tripadvisor. Some people are just in the wrong profession.
Went here with friends I was staying at a hotel in Le Luc about 30 minutes' drive away. Great pizzas that were HUGE I had the vegetarian one and it was an excellent choice, thin and crispy and full of flavour. Washed down with great local red wine. The staff were friendly and the décor is amazing light bulbs with herbs in, birdcages with lights in, old enamel signs, toys you could come back time after time and spot something different! We ate here twice for lunch over a 2 week period both times being a party of 7 or 8. We were always accommodated the staff were great. Variety of pizzas eaten including Calzone; Reggina Margaritas. No complaints from adults or kids! Would definitely revisit
Really nice location, we ate outside on an August meeting with live music in the square. The pizza's were lovely, the service good and the wine flowed nicely. We are a family of five and all ages enjoyed the food.
The restaurant is run by Italians. So you can expect authentic food and that is exactly what you get. Combine this with great ingredients from the regions and what you get is simple, yet amazing food.
Has our last night meal in Tourtour at La Place and enjoyed it very much. Pizzas are large and filling and other dishes were also enjoyed. Limited desert menu but what there was is excellent. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Had a nice dinner with my husband during our stay in Tourtour. They offer this homemade foie gras that I simply loved, a delicious pizza, amazing dessert options and a gentle staff!
