It was frustrating because I told her it wasn't a big deal; we weren't trying to cheat them, and we can afford to pay for what we ordered. I tried to explain that missing a beer or two shouldn't matter, especially when the price is $7.50 each. If they think they are losing money over this, they should consider providing better service to keep customers coming back. I even said I came here for her but didn't receive any appreciation in return. Instead, she went on about her business costs and said they weren't here to give anything away. The best al diabla shrimp and grilled oysters! I have been coming back for the last 15 years, and I always track them down on Prairie Avenue.
I found this spot while driving around looking for lunch....thought I'd give it a shot. Bam! Best campechana ever!! I'll be back for sure.
The shrimp cocktail is excellent! It's a small restaurant, but you can order by phone and enjoy your meal at home. Good luck!
