We came in on a Saturday morning to place a to-go order for an assortment pastries and breads. I had emailed in advance and was informed that there would be a retail area to purchase these items, but when we got there all the shelves were empty and I was only able to purchase a very limited selection of what was leftover from the day before. When we got home we discovered that the order was incorrect, they left out all the danishes we?d ordered and gave us 2 extra quiches. Sadly the danishes were what we were most excited to try, and we had no use for extra quiches so those went to waste. It was a pretty frustrating experience overall.
I absolutely loved La Spiga! I've passed by this place multiple times and have been eager to visit for quite a while. It’s tucked away at the end of a row of unassuming buildings that resemble warehouses, so it’s easy to overlook. The pasta dishes we tried, including the penne pesto with chicken and the tortellini aurora with chicken, were both fantastic—though the pesto was a bit salty, it had a wonderfully fresh taste. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming as well. I can't wait to go back and sample more of their pastas, sandwiches, and pastries!
I absolutely loved La Spiga! I had noticed this restaurant while driving by and had been wanting to visit for a while. It's located at the end of a row of unassuming buildings that resemble warehouses, so it can be easy to overlook. The pasta dishes I tried—penne pesto with chicken and tortellini aurora with chicken—were fantastic; the pesto was slightly salty but tasted incredibly fresh. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back and sample more of their pastas, sandwiches, and pastries!
I initially thought this place was just a bakery, but I stopped in for a delightful croque monsieur sandwich for lunch. The atmosphere was clean, tidy, and spacious. The staff was very friendly, and there was a great selection of freshly prepared food, as well as a wide variety of breads and pastries. Plus, they offer enormous muffins at 50% off after 8 AM! I initially thought this was merely a bakery, but I stopped by for lunch and had an incredibly tasty "croque monsieur" sandwich. The place is clean, tidy, and spacious. The staff is very friendly, and they offer a great selection of made-to-order dishes, along with a wide variety of breads and pastries. Plus, their huge muffins are half off after 8 AM!
This restaurant is excellent and offers fantastic prices! The presentation of the dishes is appealing, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, there's not a wide selection of drinks, and I was a bit confused about where to find utensils, so it would be helpful to have them available at the tables. Overall, I would definitely return!
Quality has gone way way down. Used to be a great place to get pastries for your shop, but no longer. Deliveries are inconsistent, prices are way high. The 9grain and the burger buns are still worth our business but nothing else. Sam?s bakery is exponentially superior
I walked into La Spriga expecting it to just be breads, I didn't know they had a full menu. I came to find out everything is made in house and is quite delicious. The sweets, breads and pastas are worth trying and the price is spot on for what you're getting. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
La Spiga is one of my favorite places in North Dallas. The food is delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Some of my favorites are the Caesar and chicken salads. You can never go wrong with a cookie or chocolate croissant either.
