Absolutely beautiful and enjoyable! Went to our HS Class reunion- all graduating classes in the 1980s from JHS in Boulder, MT. It turned out fantasic, although the waitress serving food was a bit unnerved lol This was the 1st time in DECADES (wow! That 's sooo hard to believe! That I 've had the pleasure to come out here to the lake, w/ the past 22yrs alone living outside of Coeur d ' Alene ID . But they had amazing bartenders. 1 young man was pretty entertaining, suggesting a decent drink when I 'd wanted a rootbeer schnapps, cream touch of Pepsi they had no schnapps so he suggested a ' dirty little girl ' hhmmm... that alone brought a few comments lol but turned out to be a great drink! While the atmosphere was exceptional, creating a warm and inviting environment, the food unfortunately did not meet expectations, earning only a 2 out of 5. On the other hand, the service was quite commendable, receiving a solid 4 out of 5 for attentiveness and friendliness. Overall, while I enjoyed the ambiance and the service was good, the food left much to be desired.
The food was comical. Initially, we thought the waitress was kidding when we received the chips and salsa, which included less than 2 ounces of salsa and the remnants from the bottom of a chip bag—only five intact chips for $10.00. My brother ordered the wings, and to our surprise, we got just eight tiny wings in a basket for $18.00. My niece's chicken fingers were hot on the outside but still cold in the center. The macaroni and cheese was decent, and the chili was good. Overall, I wouldn't consider returning.
The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the Missouri River and provides a relaxing atmosphere. I dined in for dinner and found the price per person to be quite reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20. We've stopped here for a meal and drinks about half a dozen times over the past nine years while traveling to the west coast. The food is always excellent, the beer selection is fantastic, and the atmosphere is welcoming! Be sure to try the calamari slaw with Thai peanut sauce—it's amazing!
I've been to the Lakeside many times to see the bands. Through the summer the access to the beach and the huge bonfire added to the experience. The staff is friendly as is the atmosphere in general. The food is very good.
I feel so happy when I arrive there. The atmosphere is warm, the beer is cold, the music is great and the beach is amazing. We always run into someone we know and I love it. Great food and excellent service!!
