Went there early 6pm booking - using a GroupOn voucher. Was presented a one page LIMITED menu to select from.. not form regular menu as advertised. "Choose any main from the menu including grilled lamb cutlets, prawn and scallop shitake, and roasted red duck curry cooked with lychee, pineapple and cherry tomatoes" These were NOT on menu. Selected Masaman Beef curry and Lamb Shank Yellow Curry -- both were BLAND and obviously meats not marinated and sauce/curries had ZERO spice and lacked flavour.Ohh RICE? Not included add $2.50 d'oh !!Dessert - sticky rice was woeful !!Even at reduced price not worth it
The decor is so warm, trendy and invitingI grabbed a table looking out onto the street which was fineThe entree was deliciousWe then realised that there was a second section at the rear which overlooked the lake!The ambience went up by 10 points as we watched the lights dancing on the water as we listening to the chatter from the many other guests.The food was delicious... really tasty and the staff could not have been more obliging and friendlyWe will return
Seated in the back area - very noisy but good atmosphere.It was very busy on a Wednesday night, so a good positive sign, but, as a consequence, service initially was slow, but polite and respectful.Betel leaves entree were average and not bursting with flavour as with some other thai restaurants. Curries were all good and Pork Belly was the start main course.Would come again, but nothing exceptional - just good honest thai fare.
Went with friends and 12 month old. We were made completely welcome, even thou we were in and out getting the little one to sleep. The food was fantastic and the wait staff were more than attentive, helpful, professional and so lovely when leaving! Might be a little more expensive but quality of food and great staff make it worth it. Will be back!!

If you walked past this restaurant you would think it was empty but it has a large outdoor eating area at the back of the shop which is usually always packed with local families. We have eaten here several times and the food is good and reasonably priced.
Had a very good voucher for here for four people it was a set menu with very good choices.Have also been here a few times before and tried quite a few of there other dishes which where all very nice.Book for out the back as it over looks the Lake
On busy road bit don't get confused as the back leads on to the lake Went here solo on night away for business. Lovely views of the lake, good service and food was reasonable but nothing to get excited about. Would visit again for location.
We always like to go to Lakeside for 2 reasons: the food is quite nice and price is very affordable too. Try their fish coco. My best dish there ever! Also they are BYO too.

Food is the run of the mill Thai. Generous serves and quality fairly good. The service can be a little lax. The outside area is a nice space especially in summer
