Very forthcoming staff, friendly waiters, quick preparation of meals. We dined in the big, beautiful front room, but the terrace up front and the one in the back are lovely too. I can only recommend. Prices are a bit on the steep side, but the food is worth every penny.
Food was good, but the service was amateurish at best. Brought food to the table and then began searching for silverware. Brought card machine to table and spent five minutes trying to use it. Then realized they had no pen to sign and the search for a pen began.
We were visiting family members in Riehen and had a great meal here for dinner (we did not stay at the hotel . The food is delicious (cordon bleu, geschnetzelte, spaetzle, etc. and the ambiance is casual. A very nice family restaurant with good Swiss food.
Stopped here for coffee after visiting the Fondation Beyeler it is next to the tram stop just before the gallery and a good alternative to the café restaurant in the gallery. It has a large and pleasant terrace, and service was efficient. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Schöne Terrasse, köstliches Hähnchen-Menü, freundliches Personal. An einem Sommernachmittag konnte ich die Kirchenglocken direkt vor mir hören und das Treiben von Verkehr und Passanten beobachten, während es regnete.
Only went for a concert held by the basel English seminar choir, however had a very nice atmosphere and tasteful decor. The inside could use some air conditioning, however.
