We took a road trip from Ohio for Mothers day to Seneca casino and didn't want to eat at the casino. I found this little gem on the way home. We didn't have reservations, but the host and owners were able to accommodate us immediately. Our server was right there with waters and took out drink order. We had appetizers of delicious artichokes, figs with goat cheese,sausage wrapped in bacon with a delicious sauce, and the best stuffed homemade sausage in peppers. Service was excellent. No waiting! Complimentary bread and butter. We ordered filet tornadoes with homemade garlic mashed potatoes and blue cheese sauce. You get 2 nice size filets. Have you ever gone to a restaurant and not only be surprised but blown away by the whole experience?? That was my wife and I when we looked for a good place to eat while we were on vacation. From the food to the waiter it was such a great experience, that we decided to go there another night. When you are on vacation in a new area you rely on reviews to help you find a good place to eat and the reviews were good so we made the trip. Quinn was our waiter both nights at the Landmark Restaurant and he was great with the food, making sure we were enjoying the meal, and staying on top of beverages, Thank you Quinn for the birthday wishes and an awesome job with our over all dining experience. We were really looking forward to this meal, but we ended up feeling quite let down. The lobster bisque was overly sweet and served cold. The French onion soup was essentially just a bowl of onions with cheese on top. The salad was mostly arugula, which wasn’t appealing at all. The menu on their website advertised steak Oscar, but they no longer offer it, so I opted for the filet and scampi instead. Unfortunately, the filet was small, overcooked, and the scampi consisted of nothing more than a handful of angel hair pasta and three shrimp. The medallions were acceptable, but overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
It has been a long time since we've experienced such excellent food and service at a fine dining establishment, and this visit brought back wonderful memories. Our table had a diverse selection, all served piping hot. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the outstanding food and service reminiscent of the past. Did I mention this more than once? Absolutely. The experience was unforgettable. Whenever we visit Jamestown and the Chautauqua Institute, we always make it a point to spend time here.

We were so surprised by this restaurant! The atmosphere was wonderful! So tastefully decorated. We ate in the dining room. Our waiter was terrific and the food was great! I’d call it a hidden gem for anyone from out of town. We traveled from Erie and would go back in a heartbeat! The deserts were to die for! What an amazing gem in Jamestown!!! My risotto was delicious!!! The bread...to die for!!! I think I could have just eaten a loaf of the bread alone, and would have been just as satisfied.
