I always pass by this place, but today I finally got to try out the food. The pub is located in a bedroom community north of Nanaimo. It has great views from its patio of the waters. However it's plus 30, so we opted to go inside where it's air conditioning. Both the patio or inside offer a lot of table space. We came on a Thursday afternoon, so the crowd was just enjoying the afternoon sun and beers. My friend ordered the clubhouse $18) and beer $5.50). I went with the pork schnitzel $20) and pop $2.50). The clubhouse my friend ordered was very good and the beer was nice and cold. My pork schnitzel was outstanding with a nice gravy and mushroom sauce. It was cooked well and tasted wonderful...
I recently had an amazing burger here (the extra, not the plain one). I didn't have high expectations since it was a spontaneous stop on the road and the only restaurant open on a Sunday when my party needed lunch. However, the buns were outstanding, the patty was delicious, and the toppings were great. While I was sitting with my partner in Bin 4 in Victoria, we couldn't help but discuss how much better our burgers were at the Lantzville Pub, which made me feel this place deserved a review!
We discovered this restaurant through a Google search. Fortunately, there was live music on the day we visited, and despite the crowd, we managed to get a table. However, due to a shortage of kitchen staff, they had a last call at 8:30 PM that evening, so it’s best to check their hours if you plan to arrive late. The portions were generous and delicious for both dishes we ordered: the fully loaded burger and the pork.
The staff here are really friendly, and the food is both delicious and reasonably priced. I met a friend for a meal, and the waitress was incredibly welcoming, allowing us to relax and chat long after we finished eating, without any pressure to leave. I'll definitely be returning! Really cozy atmosphere' especially the patio with heaters on a brisk September evening. Service was great and the food comes out so fast you can hardly sip your drink before it arrives and the speed doesn't mean a skimp on quality everything was perfect and great prices too!
The Lantzville Pub: A century old classic pub, but without all the saloon behaviour. This place has great food, complimented by ocean views and a recently overhauled small town main street. The service is fantastic. Live music every now and then rounds out the experience.
it was pretty busy when my daughter and I arrived, but the staff was very attentive and the food was very good! the fish tasted fresh and the pork was absolutely wonderful. we'll be back soon.
Good fish and chips. Staff are nice. I tried their bacon poutine and was quite impressed. I don't i think it's on the menu but you can ask for it. I would would recommend for pub food. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I just stopped by for some appetizers and drinks, and it never disappoints! It might get a bit loud once the new construction starts, so good luck with that!
