Excellent Service- Spectacular food. As consumers and patrons we are very quick to put up a bad review, but good service very rarely goes acknowledged. I have recently become wheat intolerant and am often frustrated by the limited food options available. When exposed to said villainous grass, I have swelling of my limbs and face, become dizzy and experience a myriad of other delightful symptoms. When I visited Laruche a few weeks ago I was very disappointed to hear that they had not received their delivery of gluten free (gf) buns. We stumbled upon this bar early on a Friday night, drawn in by the incredible glass chandeliers we could see from the window.The décor is very interesting and eclectic. We were warmly welcomed by the bar tender (from PNG) and he showed us through the different areas available for private hire, etc. They have a good variety of cocktails on order and a smaller list on special for available $10 - including a delicious Espresso Martini. My husband also enjoyed his other "sour" cocktail and I loved my punch.They do serve food, though we didn't look at a menu.We will definitely go back.
This place is absolutely amazing , great atomsphere great drinks list and the new menu is hitting all the spots $8 shared foods where can you go wrong I ordered the salt and pepper squid, olives , chicken skewers with curry sauce followed by the baby vegetables. everything was impeccable looked great smelt great and taste was to die for! I will be back this is definitely worth a look .
This is a Brisbane institution. The music is always spot on. They’ve got some great DJ’s there all the time. No matter the day. The drink menu is extensive and priced very well. The atmosphere is very very cool. Aircon always pumping so you don’t feel claustrophobic inside, specially after dancing to the great tunes all night.

Downstairs is packed with people crowded around the bar, upstairs takes you to a smaller area of lounge seating and small drinks bar, and at the back is an open area to sit and drink. They play house music, cocktails and no cover charge. Good mix of people, relaxed environment to mix and chat in the quieter areas.
I love visiting Laruche and putting the barfolk to a test of my favourite ingredients and see what they make me .. this latest cocktail was called the "Death flip" for my love of tequila and egg in cocktails :)
One night while bar hopping in the Valley it was hard for me to find a place that reminded me of the funky bars across Melbourne that I have grown up with.
I have this kleptomaniacal issue with visiting Laruche, and it involves wanting to steal most of their chairsShut up.

Amazing music and drinks. The bar team are friendly and accomodating. The best part this venue is the outdoor area.
