This review is from two weekends ago... I don't usually eat pancakes when out in a place because I don't like fluffy pancakes, i just try and stay away from doughy textures and also gluten as much as possible so when I do indulge in pancakes gf or not i like them thin and crunchy so when I asked the waitress where I should the pancake or french toast as part of my lumberjack plate she did not flinch and said pancakes and I am so glad I did. Best pancakes i have had out in the wild in a good long while. I should have gotten the hash browns the potatoes weren't anything to write home about. My matcha was delicious. Our absolute favorite brunch place in Edison! My husband and I had our very first brunch date here, and we go back constantly since. The only downside is they are too popular and sometimes it is impossible to get a table. My suggestion is, when you wake up, before driving there, to check their waitlist. Their menu has so much variety and just want you to go back and try everything. I can proudly say that after 7-8 years, we have tried most of the items on the menu with our family and friends, and nothing was ever disappointing. You can literally just close your eyes and pick any item from the menu and love and enjoy your food. I recommend everything.
this place is always packed and past 7am you will have a 45min wait if you try to be on the waitlist... better to reserve or join the waitlist on yelp while on the way... we've been here many times and they simply never disappoint... we had the oreo pancakes... steak and eggs... cranberry pancakes... corned beef hash bene... you should put this place on your sunday brunch list... for real...
The Breakfast Burrito at Le Peep was overwhelmingly filled with potatoes, making up about 85% of the dish. It felt like I was just eating bite after bite of potatoes, which was disappointing. This restaurant is a fantastic discovery in the local area. The food is tasty and has a fresh farm-to-table flavor. I tried the Greek goddess omelette and it was delicious. It can get pretty busy here, so I recommend putting your name on the waitlist ahead of time as the wait times can be long.
Le Peep is my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in the Edison area! It can get pretty busy on weekends so make sure to join the waitlist online early. I get something different every time I visit and I have never been disappointed. Even their drinks are great!
If you're in Edison, NJ, you should definitely check out this hidden gem of a restaurant. The portions are generous and will satisfy your hunger. The Spanish Omelette and Chicken Waffle were both delicious options to try.
