This hotel is very well located and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The staff is very friendly and professional. My room was large with a romantic fireplace. The hotel supplied the first log to burn in the fireplace with additional logs costing $5. The hotel is located within walking distance to Provigo. There you can purchase additional logs at a more reasonable price. The room has a small fridge, coffee maker and safe. The bathroom was large with a jet bathtub and separate shower. The room itself required a makeover. It was tired looking and in need of fresh paint and carpet. Besides that it is a great place to stay.
Hotel due for a big refresh! Holes in the bathroom ceilings, stains on the walls near the toilet, wine glasses in the cabinets very dirty and greasy, really noisy ventilation and no sound insulation. Spider webs. It goes without saying that we didn’t try the spa. Apart from a comfortable bed and the reception staff who were super welcoming, accommodating and courteous, we are very disappointed with our stay. Rooms: 2
What a lovely welcome from Christine. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Small rustic place where life is good! Special mention to the jacuzzi as well as the swimming pool heated all year round (wow! We will definitely come back. : Thank you for everything! I wanted to pass on my experience today with this fabulous establishment. We sadly could not make our reservation last minute, called the very nice lady at Relais St-Denis and she helped us find a solution to our problem. The hotel is tired looking. I stayed for 4 days and no one came in my room even once. Not to make the bed or change the sheets or clean or provide fresh towels.
