The Terminus offers a menu at 30€ for an entrée, plat and dessert chosen from items highlighted on the carte which looked to be excellent value. My wife and I opted for items not included in this choice, selecting particularly as plats the noix de ris de veau (sweetbreads) 32€ and poularde de Bresse aux morilles 30€ respectively. We both enjoyed our dishes, though when they arrived I did think they were rather expensive for what they were. The service was maybe not quite as professional as it might have been, but was friendly enough. Probably the best meal of our holiday. A welcome change from traditional French dishes, very unusual choices and delicious. We had the €30 menu which was excellent value. The chef makes good use of spices without overwhelming the dishes. I had a tiramisu starter involving aubergine puree and other delicious ingredients, rabbit tandoori with orange and coffee sauce (would not be recognised as a tandoori in the UK but absolutely delicious none the less) and a strawberry dessert for sweet which was very fruity. This is an expensive town for eating and the standard is high so there is a lot of competition.
That's great! Good atmosphere. If you want a beer or a glass of wine, it's the corner! It is a historic building in a beautiful part of the city. It's worth visiting. Also, very close to Thursday night market in the city center. The hotel was restored in 2019. Rooms, which you all need for a short stay, but it also offers great potential for long stays.
Stopped here for lunch while awaiting our train, and absolutely nothing to find fault with. Great speedy service, (they know you are probably limited in time). Food (we both had salads) was excellent, attentive service, and while we opted to visit outside in the sunshine there was lovely seating indoors also.

visited on a very hot night all tables booked outside, We were offered table just inside the door, we were both very pleased.Excellent choice on menu we both had steak, My husband had chips which he really enjoyed. I ordered the vegetables which were cooked to perfection
A very pleasant surprise as we hadn't thought to reserve in advance. A beautiful mean full of different flavours, tiger prawns in tempura with a wasabi mayonnaise and cold quinoa salad, wow. Given the region, the wine was delicious as well.

This is the restaurant right by the station in Tournus. Seems to be open every day and you don't need to book. The young serving staff were great, helpful and full of fun. Good menu range and reasonable wine.

Our stay was excellent, quiet room (eaven looking to the Train Station Square), absolute top restaurant! Try the chocollate speciality!
