The falafel (about five in the wrap) was good, a little dry, but good chickpea flavor 5/5...but I wished the lettuce wasn 't so spring mix from a supermarket bag and clubky chunky...I like to see more finesse...but the pita was the thick fluffy kind and the sandwich was well wrapped so you could hold it without too much falling out. We decided to visit Lemon Zest in Sierra Madre for a new dining experience. The cafe was easy to locate with a prominent sign out front, and we easily found parking at a nearby park before walking just two short blocks over. A friendly young woman at the counter answered our menu questions and even brought me a glass of water without any added fruit. Great chicken lule. Very juicy and flavorful. I original online ordered beef lule but it was out in store. Mr. Chef offered me two chicken lule skewer instead. I was really surprised that chicken lule is more flavorful than beef. I'll start to order chicken lule instead of beef lule next time. I was 3 minutes away, so I tried delivery, the website said we do not deliver to your location . I then ordered $40 dollars of food for pickup, the website said Estimated Pickup Time: Pending... for 45 minutes until they closed. The ambiance was pleasant, though the air conditioning was a bit too cold. However, it wasn't a major issue. The lamb, chicken, falafel, hummus, and baba ganoush were all delicious.
