Chateau Troplong Mondot is a lovely venue... The restaurant - on a vine covered restaurant is beautiful, charming, peaceful etc. The restaurant is comfortable; well-spaced tables and comfortable seating. The service was excellent and wines, of course, first rate. Service was a bit too speedy for me- would have liked a more relaxed pace.Food was generally excellent although the sauces on the snail starter and the pigeon were really too heavy for the weather (30º+), tasted too similar and should not, in my view, have been on the same "Menu Decouvert". an exceptional place, a perfect table, an irreproachable service everything is gathered in this magical place. advice, the discretion of always smiling staff makes this place as pleasant as at home. one feels well as the staff is dressed with elegance one does not feel the guindé of the great restaurants and yet the chef delights you taste buds. the terrace is very pleasant because shaded and ventilated. the heights of Saint Emilion, the calm, the view of the vineyards add to this place a lot of pleasure. I strongly recommend this address.
Absolutely great food. We had discovery menu, it came with several amuse-bouche, wonderful starters - snails cooked the way if have never seen before and lovely fish with flavorsome light sauce decorated with flowers, etc. Pigeon for main was extremely tender and tasty. Deserts lovely. Recommendation made for rose was great. The Chateau has its own great winery and their selection of wines is very extensive and varied. Great view from the top of the hill over vineyard. Highly recommended if you are in St Emilion area.

We had a great diner at Les belles Perdrix, we were a table of 6, the service was really friendly but always really pro, the food really deserve its *.We started with an aperitif on their terrasse outside with an amazing view on the vineyard, then we went back inside for diner, it is not a huge restaurant so it keeps a very cosy feeling. The wine list is really well done and priced, you can even buy for take away the wine from the chateau Troplong Mondot Which is excellent.
The place is already sumptuous in itself. and everything is arranged to accompany this wonderful landscape and atmosphere. dishes as original as well as good. the reception and service are warm to the choice of the uniform that I love very, shifted and with a touch of sobriety. taste, respect for flavors, warmth, freshness and an originality that follow a line of conduct that in a sense and which is devilly well mastered. Thank you. a beautiful setting in the middle of the vineyards with a shaded terrace very pleasant (more under the sun) side meals, a real happiness in the plate both visually and in a taste; a service also at the height both professional and warm again thank you for this wonderful moment we have spent. We're looking forward to going back.
very elaborate dishes and surprising and delicious associations including clementine and coffee! the frame is beautiful and pleasant. tables are far enough to feel quiet. staff is alert and discreet.

5 Star most romantic location in St Emillion! Food was epic not to mention the wine. I want to go back. Stay in the cottage on the vineyard. You smell the terrior.....
