We were so excited for the food before we came. Everything was good at first. The first soup is a bit salty but ok. After that, everything became so bad. Everything we had was cheap and not good. It’s a 7 course tasting menu but we only had a tiny bit of protein. Everything else was vegetables. The mushrooms were oily and salty. The fish was cooked too old. We were told today was about seafood. However, for one course with oyster, we had three oyster shells with only one tiny oyster meat, even smaller than finger nails. You know you are in for a great meal when you begin by gushing over the quality of the bread and butter. Les Deux Singes is such a place. Every dish is gorgeously plated and clearly prepared with great care, thoughtfulness, and a soupçon of whimsy. The chef presents dishes containing a wide variety of flavors with remarkable assuredness. Take as an example the amuse bouche with which we began: cute little pancakes with maple apricot sorbet, white bean mousse, and orange blossom water. Excellent food creative, balanced and actually perfect . Staff extremely nice and very knowledgeable BUT service much much too slow: we sat for 45 minutes before we saw any food on our table and waited forever between courses. It is unfortunate because this place has all the ingredients to be a world class restaurant but a fine dining experience goes beyond just great food. We will give them another chance because the food is that good, but just one chance….
Not just a restaurant, but an experience! The quality of the food is amazing. Each dish is curated and presented as an art form and the wine pairings were spot on! I read all of the reviews before choosing this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and, despite high expectations, was not disappointed. If you are a foodie, this is your place! Outstanding place, must visit! They were great the first time I went and I feel like they've been getting even better each time I've been after. Very innovative, with Quebecois flair. The wine pairing is a must, always finding things I want to drink again, in my top 3 worldwide.
Food was wonderful, every dish was excellent, well cooked and told a story. They were also accommodating to vegetarian dietary preferences. Our servers Alice and Jeremy were attentive and made dining out a pleasure. Can’t wait to come back!

The best vegetarian meal in 35 years of being vegetarian. Every dish was like 6 dishes within a dish as there were so many flavors and textures.
