A traiteur next to an epicerie, not a restaurant, not obviously a place to eat, but.....this is where to find that very special quality of French provincial cooking that I thought had disappeared from this region of France. The very best fruit and veg, the finest cooked meats and saucisson, home cooked ravioli and farcie, all served at tables outside in the Place under the platanes. Excellent choice of wine and beers, and lovely friendly service. What more could one want?

We had lunch here twice. The menu changes daily. All dishes were obviously fresh and without any prefab ingredients. The service might sometimes be a little less than totally professional but everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable when it came to food and wine. If you plan to have lunch I recommend arriving early. It seemed that the later guests arrived, the longer they had to wait but this was only our impression.

We had our first experience here today. The food was simple in the best possible way) fresh, light, with quality ingredients. Very flexible for a food allergy. Outside seating on the place makes for good people watching : My husband's lamb dish was divine. Portions just right on a hot summer day.
