Great little restaurant in the Ahunstic area. Not too difficult to find parking on the side streets. They were able to accomedate a large group, as long as you make reservations in advance and the chef will create a meal for the group. Drinks are original but slighlty pricy for a smaller sized restaurant that is not in the downtown core. Service was great. They changed our dishes for every entree. The meal was French and Québec fusion. Fresh veggies. Not quite enough food for the price. Traveling with two celiacs can sometimes limit our choices so we were all really happy to see lots of GF options clearly labelled on the menu outside. The waiter helped us translate the menu and we were all really happy with the dishes. I had the Tartare de saumon (not GF) with frites on the side and it was fantastic. The celiacs had Salade de betteraves and the Mozzarella Maciocia. Portions are not large but the food was top notch. The waiter (I wish I had gotten his name) was great and always had a smile despite obviously being slammed. Nice to see the whole team chipping in. We managed to snag a table with no reservation but won't trust to luck again and will make a reservation.
I read great reviews about this place so I wanted to try it for myself. Had supper here last night with a friend, and we both enjoyed our experience a lot. We started off with oysters and sparkling wine, and both had the veal for dinner. There is a special Table d'Hôte menu on Tuesdays and Wednesday which costs 29 $ and it's well worth it (appetizer, main course and desert). Our waiter, Pierre-Olivier if I'm not mistaking, was very nice and knowledgeable. The bar is beautiful, well stocked and quiet. We were told it's possible to just pass by for a drink. Cozy restaurant on Fleury street. It has an old Montreal feel. The food was pretty good and the service was great. They have a nice terrace outside and a very laid back atmosphere. Was a nice experience and the prices were ok.
Went with friends. Decor was ok. Had heard good things about the place. Food was good but nothing original. Service was good but not exceptional. Maybe that's why I was a bit disappointed. But overall a good experience.
