I was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant, but I was disappointed to find that there were not many gluten-free options available. Although the vegan choices looked tempting, I had hoped for more variety. We specifically chose this restaurant for its vegan menu, but despite reading positive reviews about gluten-free options, there were actually very few. It can be nerve-wracking to have a server who is not knowledgeable about the menu or food allergies when dealing with dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, we will not be returning due to the limited options and our concerns about feeling safe while eating here. I would recommend this restaurant to those who do not have gluten...
The Lindenhurst Diner has an entire vegan menu I think it's around four pages? I've never seen such a substantial vegan breakfast menu at a non vegan place, so seeing their menu was such a pleasant surprise! I got the Just Egg Fritatta my first Just Egg experience! and it was delicious. So filling! I was full immediately, probably due to the addition of home fries and two pieces of toast. My husband got the buffalo chicken wrap and said it was the best wrap he's ever had. I'm definitely interested in exploring more of their vegan menu! I think more diners should take the Lindenhurst Diner's lead in offering a variety of vegan items.
I’m so glad we wound up stopping here because the other place we were going to was closed. I love oldschool diners, especially the outdated roadside Americana ones with steel exteriors…. But they almost never have anything vegan. This place has an entirely separate vegan menu, where just about every diner classic is accounted for. The food was fantastic, and so was the overall vibe of the space.
I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and the price per person was around $20-30. The food was exceptional, I would give it a rating of 5 out of 5. The service was also top-notch, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, earning another 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Sauce, Fries, and Onion Rings.

i’ve been here a few times and the food is always good, not necessarily amazing though. it’s nice there are a ton of vegan options. i’ve had my order mixed up a couple times where i received something different from the vegan menu than what i ordered, but overall it’s a solid place for vegan food! What can i say, it's your local diner for 2000's. Separate Vegan Menu that has all your favorite diner food. And yes just like in the past they remember you. Great when eating with a group or need something quick to pick up after a night out. Clean inside and staff is always nice and honest about pickup and wait times.
I’m rating this on DINER food, not fine dining. They have an entire Vegan menu. Do wish they offered more tofu/tempeh based, but that’s just my preference. I will bring my own water tho b/c the tap was undrinkable (I realize this may be beyond their control).
The service was excellent, the food was decent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant was a bit small, but there was plenty of parking available.

I got the cheese fries and buffalo chicken wrap. I didn’t love the cheese fries but really enjoyed the buffalo chicken wrap.
They are all delicious! They are flexible with any changes I request!
