I visited LJ’Z Boardwalk in Manville NJ for a quick snack after dinner. It was a great treat to have the orange cream ice cream as a soft serve. I normally could only find this down the shore, this was a pleasant surprise. Yes, you can find ice cream cheaper as the other reviews say, but that’s not what it’s about. It’s more about visiting a local ice cream shop and enjoying a snack with friends and family. You’re paying for a great experience. We got 3 cups and it came to $15. Overall I had a great experience and will certainly be back. The staff behind the counter are very nice!
Dont know if it was the timing that my husband and I went about 20 mins before closing) but staff was rude and did not care. Gave me husband the wrong cup size and insisted it was the right one when we clearly saw the girl had grabbed the wrong one from the window. Overpriced and ice cream was not that good. I do agree with most of the poor comments I read here as well. Better off going elsewhere. Definitely favoritism at this place. Disappointing.
First time here today and i was not disappointed. Very delicious ice cream, I would recommend the fudge brownie or black raspberry. Very reasonable prices too. They have hard ice cream 10+ flavors, milkshakes, soft serve. Way better than the ice cream parlor in South bound brook where they charge you roughly 5$ for half a scoop of an ice cream sundae. I do Not recommend sbb.
The service here was quick, and while some of the prices may appear high or inflated, ther servings you get for the orice is well worth it. I've never ordered anything larger than the smallest serving for the soft serve, and it has always been more than enough, it's around $5.50 in case you were wondering.

I love this ice cream place, so I came here to get My Buddy’s favorite ice cream flavor to honor his “should-have-been” 3rd birthday tomorrow. I’m sad that it’s closed for the season!! See you next year.
By far the best place for ice cream. I live in Flemington and go. Look at the size of this ! Highly recommend !!! And the servers are all very friendly.
LJ'z has a good ice cream. The service is great. They have a large amount to the parking lot, but few benches sit. Great place to bring the kids.
Got charged $10 for a milkshake friends got same one and was charged $5 something’s wrong with this.
