Hands down the best meal I have had out here in Texas!! The service was phenomenal! The server gave us some awesome recommendations and they were very quick to clear finished dishes after each course. The environment had a classy Texas feel to it. Don't be scared of their unique menu because everything we had was delicious. The elk sliders were our personal favorite and a must try if you come here! For our main the roasted garlic stuffed tenderloin was exceptional! We also had the rabbit rattlesnake sausage, crispy brussels, mac and cheese, and the churrios for dessert! Everything was amazing! Perfect for a special occasion dinner, a nice night out, or a fun place to bring out of towners aft...
Lonesome Dove has been my favorite restaurant for 15 years but I only go there occasionally because of the price. The last three time I have been it’s clear that the food is slipping a bit (albeit in comparison to years past, which is a high standard). I still recommend LD FTW but just not as vigorously as I have in the past.
We were celebrating a milestone and the entire staff was so kind! We are longtime customers of Lonesome Dove and have never had a bad experience. Service is perfect and the food is also perfect. We dine early because we enjoy the quieter part of the evening and this restaurant is beautiful
Have loved (pun intended) this restaurant for over 20 years. As always, the food and service were outstanding! Only issue was a lot of gnats and bugs on the back patio.

Garlic Struffed Tenderloin is remaining all time classic. Haven’t been heere for 8 yesrs, but this place is as good as I remembered it!
