Visited them when thay first open before this new place was open. The food is great jot and filling.The owners put there soul into there cooking and it shows. First day of opening in New plz,was a little disorganized but that is to be expected . All is,well now and running smoothly. Give it a try u won't be disappointed. GOD BLESS the owners in there friendly restaurant and home cooked meals. Keep up the good work.
We thought the food was good overall. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the greens. I generally love greens, but they just didn't meet my expectations. On the other hand, the grits were fantastic. I tried my daughter's fries but didn't find them very impressive. However, we both agreed that the shrimp and fish were outstanding.
Good side salad, decent seafood gumbo and good bread pudding waffles. I'm from Louisiana, so I'm picky with my gumbo. The staff are very friendly, and the pricing is affordable.

Great menu. Jambalaya was exceptional and the sauteed crawfish basket was phenomenal. The portions are generous. Staff was gracious and attentive.
