I visited on a Saturday evening and placed a takeout order which was ready a little ahead of the promised time. My order consisted of a chef salad, sausage and peppers appetizer and side of steak fries, meat ravioli and a side salad, and tiramisu. The chef salad had a bright and fresh taste with just the right amount of cheese to avoid overindulging. I like their rolls to accompany a salad, and their had a satisfying hard exterior and chewy interior. Luciano makes their own sausage, and the taste definitely connotes fennel as advertised. The peppers remained relatively crisp in the marinara sauce which did not have too much fat from the sausage for my taste. I have had more generous portions...
They usually do a great job, but over the past year, we've had a few issues with our orders. Today, I specifically requested no vegetables for our sub, but they accidentally added toppings. When we politely brought this to their attention, they claimed to have "fixed" it. However, all they did was remove some of the toppings, leaving the tomatoes on the Italian sub. Unfortunately, my child won't eat it now. I'm really disappointed with Luciano's at Oakton. It's a nice place overall, but it seems like they don't mind cutting corners at the expense of long-time customers.
The food here is fantastic! It's hard to pick a favorite, but I highly recommend their pizza rolls. They're so good that everyone in my family requests them for our birthdays. The staff is incredible, treating you like part of the family. We've celebrated a few birthdays at this restaurant because it truly has a warm, familial atmosphere. The owner is exceptionally friendly and personable, often coming out to greet customers and singing happy birthday along with her team. This lovely family restaurant is a must-visit if you're in the Oakton/Vienna area!
Love the food and supporting a local business, BUT, don’t ask me for a tip when I call in a take out order! A tip for what? Making the food I just paid for. This practice of everyone having a point of sale machine that asks for a tip is out of control, I don’t need the person taking the phone order asking if I want to tip! Ridiculous. Great Italian restaurant and so close to Oak Marr. My neighbors raved about their pizza, calzone and their homemade sausage, lasagna so I gave it a try. The food here is excellent, and the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend trying a sub made with their freshly baked bread, which comes with delicious steak fries. This is definitely one of my favorite spots for lunch. They are also efficient with phone orders for takeout. I can't recommend this place enough!
Love the fresh, exotic, and tasty foods at Luciano! My latest favorites have been dining with friends on the 24 eggplant pizza! I eat here pretty much every week and love the hospitality and the creativity. Love that they make everything in their kitchen and many ingredients imported from Sicily. So fresh and yummy!
This my first time at Luciano?s and it was such a great experience. From the friendly and inviting atmosphere to the amazing staff I could not have asked for a better experience. I personally recommend the lobster ravioli, this was the best Italian dish I have had! I will definitely be coming back.

amazing pizza for the price! i only eat pizza once in a blue moon and wow this place is excellent. my family and i decided on the 24? pie, calamari, and the ravioli. everything was very tasty. i would definitely come again!!
