Macchina on Wentworth is a gem in Parramatta. It's my regular stop for morning and afternoon java - sidebar to lively banter with the friendly staff and Chief Barista Vass. The fresh gourmet muffins are a must-try (my favourite is white chocolate with pistachio and cranberry)
You should sit-in for lunch and try the menu (yes to a chorizo dog on a crisp roll with aioli, cheese, parsley, tomato). Chef Matt has really aced the flavours - ask for his smokey chipotle homemade BBQ sauce
They've opened up on Saturday for brunch (I usually get scrambled eggs with brie on toast with a grilled chorizo).

My organisation currently uses Macchina as our catering provider for all our training courses and meetings. They deliver hot, fresh quality food directly to our company office and have provided catering for us at short notice without a complaint. I cannot speak highly enough of Vass (the owner) who makes you feel valued and welcomed. In addition to the awesome catering, i also eat here on a regular basis with my colleagues at lunch time and found their $10 lunch special to be exceptional quality and quantity for the price. Service is always friendly and meals cooked promptly.
The layout of this cafe is beautiful. Warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Rustic and dimly lit it's the perfect place to stop for a morning coffee. I ordered the omelette.. As an avid omeletteter hehe I get them as a first meal at most places I go. This one has haloumi which I love but unfortunately I couldn't see or taste it at all.. It was also a little oily but that would be my only negative criticism. This is a cafe you'll have to stop by so you can determine your own opinion but great coffee.. Great service and great atmosphere.
Macchina on wentworth has an amazing atmosphere and so much to offer the city of Parramatta. I ordered an eggs benedict with salmon and I really have to say that was unimpressed that spinach wasn't sautéed, I felt as if I was eating leaves off a tree, it wasn't satisfying, however I will hand it to their décor, which was warm and friendly. The coffee was really wonderful which was a plus, because nothing makes your morning like a good coffee. a 3.0 for presentation, good coffee and being conveniently close to the station.

Shocked & Insulted this morning as the owner of this
business went on a racist tirade to me and friends (and I am Muslim customer)
against the Muslim community. I have been a loyal customer for 3.5 years but
after todays horrific experience I will NEVER set foot in this business again.
I will also spread the word of the incident today and I hope others will follow
suit and boycott this bigot business.
From the outside it looks quiet but once you get inside its bustling with locals and corporates. They roast their own blend but also have a single origin available. The interior is fresh with dark furnishings and pretty lighting. The breakfast menu is standard with a good selection of juices and drinks. Customer service is good.
The grilled chicken on this burger was one of the juiciest and most succulent I've ever had. Delicious. Would've loved my coffee in a slightly smaller tulip cup, not to many Cafes have those these days, but personally, they offer the best milk to coffee ratio #coffeeconnoisseur #coffeesnob.

Good food! Good prices! Reasonable waiting time and respectful staff. Really enjoyed catching up with a friend at this cafe. We stayed for almost 3 hours and I'm very impressed. Went for lunch on a Thursday, not too busy and we didn't have to wait for a table.

Work around the corner.. Best coffee and food around this area. Service is exceptional and the fitout is really cool. They always try new things with their menu. Highly recommended
