We drove past this place a couple times before stopping in. From the outside this place looks like a lot of fun. In good weather, they have a patio with plenty of seating and even little plastic igloo things. In the snow, it was even cuter with its Christmas decor and lights. This place has a great atmosphere. I didn't expect much when my partner and I chose this place for an early dinner. Boy, it was a treat. Authentic pub food, best I had in the country. I'm serious. Proper pour of Guinness accompanied our beef with cabbage (properly sided with mustard) and a delicious shepherd cake. The wings and frits are also amazing when you're looking for east coast quality buffalo and the Scottish thunder sauce is not quite Thai-spicy, but it's almost there. In addition, the waiting staff are very well organized and offer great service, also on the outside seats (which are sweet and beautiful on a warm day) will be visited again.
What an amazing experience. I did not disappoint our freshly caught Mackinaw from a morning trip to the restaurant and the preparation of fish. They offered three different possibilities as the fish was prepared, while all three were good, the Blackened was by far my favorite. The vegetables and the fries that accompanied the fish were delicious. They even contained a fresh salad with the meal. For those who did not want to enjoy the fresh fish, the burgers, chili and Clam Chowder were also delicious in the bread bowl. I can't wait to go back and try the Shepard's cake.
It was so good for lunch, we went back to dinner! The waiting staff is a well-oiled machine, working with attention through all. Great selection with my favorite IPA, Pliney the Elder. And the food:. Best Calamari ever, and a huge part of it. In fact, to share additional hunger or plan or to take over remnants. Very generous amounts of great food and an extensive menu, the begs return visits to taste them all. My bride is still talking about the Salat Drop the Beet. We're here in South Lake Tahoe for another week. It will be hard to choose somewhere else.

This place appeared on my recommended spots on Google while I was in Lake Tahoe. It mentioned that it was friendly dog so we brought our 2 pups here. We sat in the terrace and they have individual enclosed areas that were fantastic. They brought our dogs a water bowl and offered us some meat patties for them. Her food was spectacular. Their drinks were strong and the food was big portions. We had a few servers to check on us and they were also super friendly. Anyway, I'd come back.
What a great meal/experience! We sat outside inside plexiglass domes that were set up very well. It was perfect for a family with an axtive toddler. The service was exceptionally good! Portions are very large and we'll worth the price. We all had food to take home. Everything tasted great! Wish I was a local so I could come back and try new items.
Absolutely delicious I ordered the macDuff steak it was cooked perfect and the seasonal vegetables were so good. My husband ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza with white sauce, he said it was the best pizza he ever had. I definitely recommend this place!
