Oh, this is a great place for a leisurely family dinner. There is no loud music. You can talk to your family in peace. It's so unusual. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We arrived for dinner and found a place for us. I recommend taking snails according to the recipe from the chef. They are in an amazing creamy sauce with mushrooms. We were also surprised by the onion soup. It's easy to spoil it, but here it's gorgeous. We also liked the children's menu it is very homemade. The kangaroo meat was soft and delicious. Servers were wonderful. I wish I could remember their names. They were attentive, friendly, and answered our questions. Atmosphere was special. We were there for an anniversary and were permitted to bring in a cake which they cut and served. The food presentation was excellent. However, I did not rate a 5 because some of the dishes were very salty (chicken picatta and salmon) and the salmon appeared to be poached. Sirloin was done oerfectly but had alot of grissel so difficult to cut. The oysters on the half shell were very tasty but more than miniature in size. Fried calimari and french onion soup excellent. I would return for a special occasion. We enjoyed ourselves and never felt rushed.
We had a wonderful time! The atmosphere is amazing and we were able to get a table that was very quiet! The waitress was super friendly, professional, appreciative of our business, and met every need! The Norwegian Salmon was very good. The Chicken Piccata was not what we expected and didn’t settle well in my wife’s stomach, which she paid for the rest of the night and following morning. The value was not that great. We felt it was a little overpriced, however, it seems like everyone is these days. They did give my wife a free Apple Streusel for her birthday that was amazing! Overall, we enjoyed our time at the restaurant and would go back.
You can tell a great restaurant by how they handle difficulties. We were going to be a few minutes late and I called to let them know. Zoe, the hostess was very helpful and told me about the best place to park to make up time. She held our table. Our server, Aspen was great and checked on us regularly. The manager even checked on us and how our food and experience was, thanking us for our thoughts. I can tell they are practicing the Deming Principle. This is great place and well managed.
This has been the best dining experience we have had all year. Food was amazing, Service was amazing, Atmosphere was amazing. They treated us like family, and made sure that we were happy with the experience!
Atmosphere was absolutely perfect. Dinner was 4/5 stats. Waitress had several issues with service. All in all. We had a nice time. It wasn't overly priced. So I think a 4/5 star rating is perfect.
The food and service were great. Always a special place for us as we travel a ways to get here. The prime rib and lamb was delicious and cooked perfectly.
