Main Street Pub - Tisch reservieren

We were over to the island for a day trip and found the Main street Pub on Google and decided to give it a shot. I must say I was very disappointed, I ordered a chicken burger and my husband ordered a cheese burger. When...you hear the name you think real pub food right ? Well not so much. My Chicken burger was something like you would buy at Sobeys in the frozen section, that they just threw in the deep fryer. My husband burger was about the same idea just a boxed processed burger with no taste. I found this place an average rural pub. It was relatively friendly, the food was average, but what's disappointing was the drink tracking by the two bartenders who were on duty the night of my visit. I was not from the area and had a...few beers. The bartender was local as was the majority of the patrons. The bar was quite busy that evening with a local fund raising pub crawl in progress. My bar tab at the end of the evening was surprisingly high. I mentioned this fact, but the bartender was not interested in hearing my concern. We went here and gave it another shot as a friend was playing here and there really is not many places to have a drink and go to Montague and listen to music. We had fun at first but the gal who is supposedly bringing...in business for Kate is nuts her name was Carla. totally obnoxious and not professional at all showing her bra and underwear to whoever would look, at the end of the night she was absolutely pissed ! The thing that puts me off more than anything is Kate can't seem to keep the same staff every time you go here there is a different face serving you, that tells me she is a difficult person to work for and treats her staff unfairly. Do yourself a favour and go to lady slipper up...

this pub is awesome ,the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu and make every effort to accommodate any special request you may have.the atmosphere is comfortable and right from the moment you arrive you feel welcomed and appreciated,the customer service is outstanding...and only exceeded by the quality of the food.well done by all concerned ! when you finish you are full and very relaxed and look forward to the next visit.i highly recommend this spot not only for a nice meal but a very relaxed time as a customer you receive excellent cuisine,good prices,wonderful staff and down home hospitality.

terrible experience, food was awful, the owner kate was rude and not helpful at all. we travel to pei from Ontario all the time and used to come here when it was under different management, boy did it go down hill since new owndership. food...quality and portion sizes went down.the prices were absurd for the little food you got. the waitress was nice enough but the owner was around and she was awful. didn't want us to feel welcome it seemed. will never be back and will tell people not to go.

I was actually upstairs from the Main Street Pub, in Pizza Delight, owned by the same owners. A friend of mine and I intended to get pizza, but they were actually doing the burger love upstairs, so we got that instead. The burger wasn't the...best burger I had, but it was decent: a burger with the works, plus onion rings. It was certainly not extremely new or inventive, but the taste was great, the portion size was good, and it appeals to all people.

We enjoyed Burger love here this year and it was quite nice. The pub is in the basement of Pizza Delight and it has alot of seating surprisingly, a nice mix of booths and tables. When we were there they had live music and the...balance and volume were off but it was a nice little venue that was showcasing local talent. I'd go there to try the food, on a regular night.

I will never go to this restaurant ever again, the owner I believe she is Kate is rude, abnoxious and downright nasty. Food is not good like it used to be and portions have shrunk. Main reason is that woman however she won't get one...more cent out of me or my family and anyone visiting I will tell to avoid the place like the plague.
