Not sure where the 4 star rating is coming from, but the Karen's on the porch might be a tell tale sign. The waitstaff handled it in stride. Came in mid afternoon on a Saturday out of season. Used to DC prices so it was less then what we normally pay for three with drinks, an appetizer, and entrees. The food was good, what you would expect from a seaside restaurant. Drinks were very tasty and Taylor, our server was very sweet and made us a cold coffee after our meal! We saw a pod of dolphins off the outside porch where we were sitting. Nice show.
The restaurant is located right by the beach, offering stunning views both indoors and outdoors. We opted to sit inside since it's summer and quite warm outside. Our waitress was incredibly attentive...
FULL DISCLOSURE: I'm giving this rating because it met my expectations perfectly, and I got just what I was looking for: a beautiful beach view and a refreshing, beach-inspired sweet drink.

I am quite surprised by the negative reviews here! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Mango's on our first night in Bethany, enjoying the beautiful ocean view...
Went for an early dinner and we chose here because of the view, which was great. Ordered the 1/2 jerk chicken which was overcooked and very dry. Not much else stood out.
