Still the best fish and chips place around. The chips are consistently amazing, made with potatoes that are carefully selected to match the season. The cod, although a bit on the expensive side now, is always cooked and battered perfectly. Even though I now live over two hours away, I make a point to stop by on my way down south and plan my trips to align with their opening hours. You have to try them out, you won't want to go anywhere else.
This is by far my favourite chip shop in Ibstock but they have a new item/meal called the “fisherman’s roll” OMG it is so nice a small fish fritter, potato fritter And mushy peas served with chips. ALL FOR £3.50 omg it is the nicest thing ever. I totally recommend to anyone looking for a cheap and delicious meal.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The fish batter was practically raw, and the manager had an awful temper and was very rude to the staff. The only good thing about the meal was the chips, which were nice.

I regularly travel to Manor if we want fish and chips. Having eaten at the Magpie in Whitby and other famous fish and chip shops I think the Manor is easily as good. Vinnies is good as well but I prefer Manor!
Same as my last review. The best fish chips in Ibstock. Went for a meal deal. Portion size was great quality of food service was excellent!. Keep up the great work!
Been to The Old Manor Fish bar over 100 times and ate nearly everything on the menu... NEVER had a bad meal from here EVER... One of the greatest fish bars ever...

Quick service nice staff great choices It is close to the main road it has 4 car park spaces and I would recommend it to anyone.
