Still the best fish and chips place around. The chips are consistently amazing, made with potatoes that are carefully selected to match the season. The cod, although a bit on the expensive side now, is always cooked and battered perfectly. Even though I now live over two hours away, I make a point to stop by on my way down south and plan my trips to align with their opening hours. You have to try them out, you won't want to go anywhere else.
manor fish bar is by far the best chippy round. the best fish we've ever tasted. the employees are fabulous, always working hard to operate them quickly and efficiently. would like to see that they win in the next few years best chip shop. I would certainly vote for them. 10/10. well done everything
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The fish batter was practically raw, and the manager had an awful temper and was very rude to the staff. The only good thing about the meal was the chips, which were nice.
I regularly travel to Manor if we want fish and chips. Having eaten at the Magpie in Whitby and other famous fish and chip shops I think the Manor is easily as good. Vinnies is good as well but I prefer Manor!
