Mariscos Altamar Restaurant

Their website says their mission is to serve authentic Mexican seafood in a family fun environment. To which I say, that was exactly how It worked out. We had a very enjoyable meal of a mixed seafood enchilada and a tostada chicken combo. When I was asked whether I wanted a red or green sauce, I said Christmas like a native New Mexican. The meals were well prepared with chunks of chicken and seafood. Very flavourful. There was a guitar player singing and joining in with those having a birthday party. Quite enjoyable evening they're fulfilling their mission.

excellent experience and strongly recommend. many seafood options and some other drinking were wonderful. started with a grundmargarita. my wife had the lava colada. very tasty. I had the garnel and crab mixed enchiladas with red and greener sauce pretty good! my wife had garnel with flour toads. both had sides of rice and fried beans. chips and salsa were good, but sharp. note: they pay extra for them! axel was on this day our server. he made an excellent job and when he found out that we were in a nearby hotel. offer another margarita without cost!

my man and I stayed in albuquerque on the way back to mn. our hotel has reminded us to dinner at mariscos altamar, and we had such a great experience. their suggestions were perfect. the food was tasty, made by scratches, and the portions were extremely generous. we also met the owner: mr. hernandez: a hard working, gentle soul that could not have been kind. well made hernandez family?

Stopped by New Mexico for some authentic Mexican cuisine!! For my drinks I had the Razi Kazi shot and a cucumber Fishbowl. Both were potent and delicioso.For dinner I had shrimp, octopus with green and red peppers served with a side of rice and tortilla shells.. First time at a Mexican cuisine. the owner daughter thinks it's perfect in order to get the sway from her taco with the fingers, although I told them I have an allergy. She said it's okay because they use gloves. secondly, if they have an allergy, they should regain the taco, but that is not how they do business! after the plate was given up again three times. Serious customer service!

after the journey from California we came here on the road. amazing service after a long time. beautiful tasty food and great drinks. I would recommend it 100% if you want to enjoy and have beautiful time. they have adapted the vegetarian options for us. vegetarian options: veg food available on request

We enjoyed this restaurant very much. The house margaritas were good and our fish tacos were delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. We would go back the next time we are in Albuquerque.
