Market Place Fisheries

Was staying in the local area, whilst renovating a narrowboat at Goole, read the reviews and my husband who is a bit of a fish and chip officianado was keen to go. I don't eat fish but he does, he loved the fish and chips, batter was crispy, chips were fluffy, food was hot, portion size generous and really good value for money, he would highly recommend this friendly, clean business. 5 stars all round Service: Take out

I highly recommend Market Place Fisheries in Market Weighton, East Yorkshire for a traditional, high-quality meal at a great price. For just over £8.00, you can enjoy cod, chips, battered sausage, and curry sauce. This old-school chippy offers excellent value compared to other nearby options. I suggest opting for the takeout service for a delicious dinner that won't break the bank.

I recently moved to this area and I have to say that this is the best fish and chip shop I have been to in a long time. The takeout service was excellent, the prices were very reasonable (between £1 and £10 per person), and the quality of the food was outstanding. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

The service at this restaurant is outstanding, the food is delicious, and it is really good value for money. I highly recommend it. Stopped by this little chip shop whilst staying in the area (Still Rabbit Lodges). The lady said they only had small fish left, so we were astounded when she passed over two large fish and chips! Price was also so cheap! £10.90 for 2 x fish chips and 1 x peas! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

I'd eat here every day if I could. Everything one needs from a fish and chip shop- friendly staff, value for money and, of course, brilliantly cooked food. Sunshine in a meal!
