The diner looks comfy if not a bit stuffy. Menu was diverse and promising. Prices average from $10-$40. Appetizers were warm to cold and not freshly made (odd shaped over-fried poppers, cold ribs, leathery potato skins, nothing interesting). Sandwiches were good size portions, on toasted bread and delicious fries and reasonably priced. From that point on it went downhill. Late orders, chicken salad without chicken, seafood pasta without shrimps. Probably we just had a bad luck with the shift crew. I think for a cold beer and sandwich it will be ok.
This was my first visit to this excellent restaurant, and I had a wonderful experience. It wasn't just the delicious food that impressed me, but also the outstanding customer service! Everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were exceptionally kind. In comparison to Derby, the prices here were much more reasonable, the food was far superior, and the service was noticeably quicker. I will definitely be returning!
No photos on purpose because I don't want to mislead folks. Two of us were sharing a ceaser salad and seafood plate and without asking our server split everything to 2 plates. Spot on ceaser with shrimp. And the seafood player is excellent. Enjoyed a Russian River sour beer. And then we had white chocolate cheesecake. OMG. This is an edit with photo because that was EXCELLENT. We are here on a family thing but if we lived close I could hang out here!
Stopped in for dinner and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was fantastic. I had the Chicken Vechia with spinach and corn chowder. It was amazing. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. My waitress, Korina, was terrific. Big smile a greatpersonality. Would definitely come back.

The food was decent, but the prices were excessively high. $15 for tater tots? $15 for mozzarella sticks? And really, $15 for onion rings? That seems quite steep for onion rings. A $16 BLT better be superb, but this one was just average. On the positive side, the service was excellent.
We ate in the restaurant for the first time. We ordered the Pasta Primavera and Turkey Reuben. The food was great, but the background music was a rock radio station. We were expecting Irish music, so the rock music and commercials were distracting from the Irish pub atmosphere.
Excellent meal at Matt D’s on a Sunday morning. Great place for Sunday nfl with bar counter. I was a single and low maintenance. However, like many places they were understaffed. I had the Loco Moko with the patty grilled instead of flat top which makes a huge difference.

Highly recommend Matt Denny's. Food was amazing and the service was great. I had the Black and Blue Rib Eye and my husband had the Prime Rib. I'm now obsessed with their garlic mashed potatoes. It's a must.
The burger was tasty, although the restaurant had an odd smell that you only notice upon entering.
