As for the food at the brunch buffet, it was quite disappointing, resembling a complimentary breakfast you might find at a motel. The waffles were bland and unappetizing, the scrambled eggs looked crumbly and overcooked, and the Eggs Benedict had clearly been kept under a heat lamp for too long. The bacon was greasy, and the small desserts in cups lacked inspiration. The salads were quite ordinary. While you could eat everything, it was neither impressive nor memorable—definitely not something that would entice you to go back for seconds.
At the carving station, I encountered a roasted beef paired with a rather dry-looking Yorkshire pudding. When I asked our server for a latte or cappuccino...
When the restaurant is busy, it can be quite an unpleasant experience. However, if you manage to snag a table, it can be enjoyable. Unfortunately, the chairs are quite uncomfortable. I would recommend going for shorter, one-act shows, as the intermission tends to drag on for 20 minutes with little to occupy yourself, and the buffet is closed during that time. The actors deliver exceptional performances, but the food leaves much to be desired—it's the most mediocre I've ever had. Everything was just average; nothing was exceptional, nor was anything particularly bad. I suppose that's the nature of buffets: they aim to minimize waste.
Fantastic dinner theater experience! The actors and actresses are incredibly talented. The facility, including the restrooms on both sides of the theater, is spotless. They offer a buffet-style meal with high-quality food, including a carving station. There are plenty of meat options alongside a great selection of salads and a variety of desserts. There’s something for everyone, including some gluten-free choices. To prevent congestion, there are two entrances to the buffet, with food served on both sides. You can’t go wrong choosing this venue for your entertainment. Plus, there’s ample parking available!
We attended the event "Clusterflick" featuring Gordon's Big Bald Head, and it was an outstanding show. The improvisation was especially remarkable. We entered with uncertain expectations, but it truly surpassed them. The food was quite good, particularly for a buffet offering such a diverse selection. The Yorkshire puddings were the biggest I’ve ever seen! We were also very pleased with how well the food was labeled, which greatly assisted those with food allergies. I would definitely recommend it!

My wife and I went to see a performance of Rock of Ages, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the incredible talent on display! The cast and band were exceptional, making us feel as if we were at a true off-Broadway theater rather than a dinner theater. The buffet offered a wide selection of fresh and delicious dishes. Our server was outstanding, and all our interactions with the staff were wonderful as well. We will definitely be back!
This was my third visit to the Mayfield Dinner Theatre, where I went to see the performance of "Rock of Ages." It was fantastic! The food was superb, featuring a wonderful variety and served piping hot, with a delightful melt-in-your-mouth texture. The show was hilariously funny, the music was top-notch, and the performances by the actors were remarkable. I highly recommend it!
Parking is plentiful, with plenty of spots available. We prefer the booth seating, although we’ve also sat at tables. I like to be seated closer to the stage, but the views are good from anywhere in the venue. The servers are attentive and friendly. I highly recommend the dinner theater as a wonderful night out!
I visited Rock of Ages, courtesy of Cheryl Rose. It was my first time there, even though I had worked at the same place 39 years ago. The booth was fantastic, the staff was friendly, the buffet was delicious, and the show was entertaining! Parking was convenient as well, and I definitely plan to come back!

We were seated in the third row by the railing, offering wonderful views, though I must say, there truly isn’t a bad seat in the place. The buffet was outstanding—everything was hot and tasty. They have some impressive shows scheduled, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
