The service at this restaurant has always been good, but my experience with the bartender was quite disappointing. I have no issues with the other bartenders, but one in particular really stood out for all the wrong reasons. It all stemmed from a situation involving a purse. His lack of politeness and professionalism was striking—very disrespectful and unhelpful. If the bartender with glasses had simply offered an apology, I might have considered returning. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I feel compelled to give a 2-star review. I urge the staff to treat customers with respect and courtesy; otherwise, it could lead to serious repercussions.
I stopped in here in a Sunday night before going to a show at the Ardmore Music Hall. It was within walking distance and looked cozy from the cold street. I sat at the bar and got the special appetizer, panko tomatoes on greens with goat cheese and was still hungry so also got the hummus. Both were good. Some of the pita bread was a little burnt but the unburnt pieces were good. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Prices seemed reasonable. Id go here again if I’m in the area again.
This place has the best meatloaf I've ever had, and they offer a unique General Tso's chicken sandwich that I might be hooked on. They always have excellent beer on tap at reasonable prices, and the outdoor seating area is fantastic. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it! I do wish they still had their roasted vegetable sandwich, though.
This is a lovely spot for a refreshing drink. The burger is fantastic! The staff is friendly and courteous. It's the perfect place to kick off a girls' night out on the Main Line!

Every time we go, staff is so attentive. Their food is delicious and they don't skimp on their mixed drinks. Definitely one of my fave spots in the area!
My boyfriend and I absolutely love McCloskey's! Marty is fantastic. It's our go-to spot for football, wings, and drinks. We can't wait to return soon!
