I was taken aback during my visit to McDonald's when the person ahead of me paid for my meal. I felt a mix of disappointment and gratitude. Acts of kindness like that are rare and truly show the goodness in people.

A later snack while driving home. A drink and cookies ordered. The drink was as expected and the cookies were fresh from the oven and still soft and warm. So delicious and good!
