I stumbled upon this specialty store while exploring the Old City Quarter and decided to check it out. The variety of European products amazed me, with plenty of stocking stuffer and gift ideas to choose from. The store is fully stocked with imported items such as cheese, jams, sausages, vinaigrette dressing, condiments, and sauces. I was impressed by the affordable prices and felt overwhelmed by the selection of items. I will definitely be returning to make a purchase on my next visit. Thank you for the great window shopping experience and allowing me to take pictures.
Excellent and well-curated selection of international and gourmet items. Cheese and meat cooler, complimented by imported dry goods. January 25th each year, a traditional Haggis luncheon is served, complete with piper and neeps and tatties. Staff are very knowledgeable. Yummy lunches daily! Parking may be easier in alley. Right in the middle of the old city quarter and walking distance to many other interesting shops. I always leave with a delightful bag of tasty goodies.
Super friendly service and a unique variety of foods from around the world. I wish we had a place like this in Toronto!From the moment you enter the store, you can tell by the screen door that this is a special place. There is an old world field and a huge assortment of foods, meats, cheeses, etc. We were on the quest for Nanaimo Bars and we were not disappointed by the original bar. Delicious!
A specialty store that has kept true to its name over the years! Selections are unique and carefully curated, and couple that with the knowledgeable and friendly staff really makes this a store worth a visit. Finally my first visit and blown away by the selection of their specialty foods and cheeses. I decided to treat myself and chose a creamy brie, wine chorizo and absolutely delicious lemon/salt crackers. Looking forward to patio time this sunny weekend!

McLean has an extensive supply of English and other foods from around the world. Always go for the English tea, cookies and pies. Delicious.

This restaurant is a fantastic place for cheese lovers! It's the only store I've come across that offers sheep cheese. Delicious!
